Some notable clients include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, and Kaiser Permanete. He is well published having contributed to the Handbook of Clinical Automation, Robotics, and Optimization and written numerous articles on laboratory automation and reengineering. He has been a guest speaker at the Symposium on Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence for the Clinical Laboratory, and the International Symposium on Automation and Robotics for Laboratories. Mr. Farnsworth is a recipient of the Barringer Mannheim International Award for Innovation in Robotics for the Laboratory.

Jay George, PhD : Dr. George is currently the Chief Technology Officer for Trevigen. He was most recently the Chief Scientific Office of American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), a global nonprofit bioresource center containing the largest and most diverse collection of biological materials in the world. His vast knowledge of cell culturing and strong relationships with leading research institutions within the various disciplines of life sciences will bring tremendous benefits to the company. His previous work experience includes Assistant Director for Program Technology Development at the National Cancer Institute and Vice President Research and Development at both Condon Pharmaceuticals and Oncor. Jay George has published numerous articles and holds the patents for a number of leading biotechnology procedures and products.

Johnny Huard, PhD : Dr. Huard is the Deputy Director of the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine (MIRM) as well as the Cellular Therapeutic Pillar and an Associate Director of the Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative (PTEI). His main research focus continues to expand the possibilities of tissue engineering by unlocking the potential of gene therapy and adult stem cell research and transferring research findings into the development of effective treatments for damaged or diseased tissues as they relate to the musculoskeletal system, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Dr. Huard is also an Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery, Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, Bioengineering, and Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh; Director of the Stem Cell Research Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh; and is a co-founder of Cook MyoSite, Inc.

Anne Kopf-Sill, PhD : Dr. Kopf-Sill brings two decades of experience in developing increasingly complex research and diagnostic products. She was most recently with NuGEN Technologies as the Vice President of New Products, as well as Caliper Life Sciences where she successfully led the development of new assay and microfluidics products, and managed the technical development in strategic collaborations. In addition, Dr. Kopf-Sill held engineering development and product management positions at Abaxis and Molecular Devices. She is an inventor on more than 30 microfluidics and diagnostic patents and was recently elected as President of the Association for Laboratory Automation. Dr. Kopf-Sill earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University. In addition, she received a B.S. from the University of Virginia in Chemical Engineering.

Paul Price, Ph.D. : Dr. Price has been active and internationally recognized in the areas of cell culture and media development since 1958. Currently, as part of R&D at GIBCO Invitrogen, he helped design and develop much of their specialized media for the culture of neurons, stem cells, and other mammalian cells. In 2005, he transitioned to the department of Cell Culture Research. Prior to joining GIBCO Invitrogen in 1990, Paul was a Branch Chief in the Center for Infectious Diseases at the CDC and later founder and Executive Vice-President of Hycor Biomedical. Dr. Price has been active in many Scientific Advisory Boards including the Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB). At SIVB, he has been on its Board since 1998 and was recently elected President. He is an inventor, author of numerous scientific publications, reviewer for In Vitro and other journals, and an outside expert for grant reviews for the NIH’s National Cancer Institute. Dr. Price has been an Adjunct Professor at several Universities, and speaks regularly around the world on cell culture related topics. He received his PhD from the George Washington University with majors in Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Virology.

Jonathan M. Sackier, MD : Dr. Jonathan Sackier lends his vast international medical expertise and extensive business leadership in the healthcare industry to Global Cell Solutions. Dr. Sackier has started and funded ventures in cellular biology that were subsequently licensed to third-parties, including Intuitive Surgical and Valleylab.
